Buddy vs. the Killer – Musical

This musical portrays the life and work of two of the world’s most popular rock icons: Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis. Buddy Holly, who is known as the “First Gentleman of Rock” is a sharp contrast to Jerry Lee Lewis who is known as “The Killer”. Songs such as “That’ll Be The Day", "Everyday”, “It’s So Easy To Fall In Love”, “Peggy Sue”, “Oh Boy”, “True Love Ways” by Buddy Holly will be sung alongside Jerry’s “Great Balls of Fire”, “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On”,“Breathless”, “Wild One” and Good Rockin Tonight”. Video, an Art, a History 1965-2010 is drawn from the Pompidou’s Musée National d’Art Morderne’s/Centre de Création Industrielle video and new media art collection. Originally conceived to explore the largest history of video art, this exhibition explores the revolution of video as a creative medium. It has also travelled to seven cities around the world since its 2005 premiere in Barcelona.
